Well camp has come and gone and summer not far behind it. Time is flying by and before we know it, school will be starting back up. I know many of you are dreading it, but I pray that you will begin to get excited about school starting because you know that you are going to be able to impact your peers for Christ this school year. For those of you who went to camp, this is where the "relating" comes into play. Start praying now for specific people that you know God is leading you to love and share your light with. The students of FBC Troup can make a huge difference in the school if you all let the love of Jesus over flow out of you onto everyone around you!!
We have several more things planned before summer's end, Movie Night at the church (July 16th), VBS kick-off (July 18), VBS (July 19-23), Rangers Game (July 27) as well as a trip to 6 flags, a back to school party and more (stay tuned for the dates on those).
We have started working on calendaring events for the Fall and it is going to be awesome, but for now enjoy the rest of your summer. And as always please let us know if you need anything, have any ideas to make this ministry better or more effective or if we can join you in praying for something.
