Tonight we will be starting the high school bible study at 8pm at Tommy and Heather's house. We will be doing a book study on Radical by David Platt, which is likely to rock your world, in a good way of course!! Anyone who has finished 8th grade and older is welcome to attend.
Tomorrow before our regular Student Ministry meeting time, the junior high ministry will be kicking off their first bible study, Back to the Basics. It will start at 5pm and last about 30 minutes which will allow time to eat before the whole group gets started.
We have started our summer movie bible study series on Wednesday nights. This week we will finish watching The Blind Side and then the over the course of the summer Tommy will be teaching lessons based on illustrations found in the movie.
Friday and Saturday is the renovate guys' ministry camping trip to the Tyler State Park. The cost is $10 and you will need to talk to Tommy about what to bring and what time to meet up!!
The God Girl and God Guy studies got of to a good start on Sunday afternoon, but there are still several books available so if you signed up and were not able to be there last week, it's not too late. We even ordered a few extra books, so everyone who wants to attend it welcome!! Oh and please remember your $11 if you haven't paid it already for your book.
Instead of regular night church and SNAC we will be challenging the adults to a softball tournament on June 13, which will be followed by home made ice cream. So please invite your friends and recruit some good players to hang out that night!!
June 18th the high schoolers will be going bowling- more info about times and cost coming soon!!
